Resolució d'al·legacions per ubicar la nau d'equipaments de la brigada
Dimarts dia 23 de febrer es va portar a ple l’aprovació definitiva al valor fixat per part de l’Ajuntament respecte l’ocupació d’uns terrenys particulars que afecten a la implantació de les Escales Mecàniques a les Monges. Finalment, no hi ha hagut un acord amb el que reclama la propietat afectada i en el ple de dimarts es va aprovar un preu que ja s’havia fixat anteriorment. Tanmateix, es podrà presentar un recurs en cas de no ser acceptat. El punt va quedar aprovat per 8 vots a favor per part de l’equip de govern, dos vots en contra del grup d’Esquerra Republicana i dues abstencions dels dos regidors convergents.
En el segon punt, es va procedir a la resolució de les al·legacions presentades en el projecte de construcció d’una nau d’equipaments. Serà un espai que s’ubicarà al polígon de Can Panyella i que es destinarà a serveis municipals, a la brigada, s’instal·larà una zona d’aparcament i s’habilitarà una zona verda.
El projecte, en el període d’al·legacions, ha rebut una al·legació per part del grup d’Esquerra Republicana, que demanava que es replantegi l’actuació en la parcel·la d’equipaments de propietat municipal. La proposta consistia en què l’Ajuntament fes una permuta per requalificar la zona i que part de la parcel·la passés a sól industrial i es posés a subhasta.
D’aquesta manera, l’empresa Carns Romeu, interessada en ampliar el seu espai, podria optar-hi a canvi d’una compensació econòmica, que es traduirïa en una altre sòl amb una superfície equivalent.
L’alcalde de Gelida, Lluís Valls va explicar que es mostrava sorprès i perplex davant d’aquesta al·legació, argumentant que no hi havia cap proposta en ferm damunt la taula per part de l’empressa interessada. Va exposar tot el seguit de reunions que s’havien dut a terme entre l’empresa i l’Ajuntament i les diverses alternatives proposades per a l’ubicació de l’ampliació de Carns Romeu, sense arribar a un acord.
L’alcalde va cloure el seu argument afirmant que era una persona que vetllava pels interessos de les empreses gelidenques i pel creixement econòmic de Gelida.
El punt va quedar aprovat per 8 vots a favor per part de l'equip de govern, dos vots en contra dels regidors d'Esquerra Republicana i dues abstencions.
